Sothea Pheng is a young girl who has been chronically and supernaturally unlucky since birth. As such, she has had plenty of time to adapt to her misfortune, and is perpetually prepared for anything life could throw at her.
At least, almost anything - she lives in a setting where things such as vampires, werewolves, witches and mad scientists, the fair folk and who knows what else lurks in the shadows. The supernatural are obscure enough that some people can live full lives without hearing about them, but Sothea in particular can't seem to avoid them.
